Mrs Adenike Opeola is the Board Chairperson of Women for Women Initative Foundation in New york, is a Business Entrepreneur with over seven years experience working on NGO management. She has first degree in Economic from Ekiti state university, Ado- Ekiti in Nigeria and Master degree in Disaster Management in Metropolitan University in New York. She was the Program Manager a non – profit organisation in Nigeria named Feminine Action for Grassroots Development Initative. She has wealth of experience in capacity building on Business and Financial management for grassroots women and young girls.
Olushola Akai
Board Secretary
Olushola Akai is the Board Secretary of Women for Women Initiative Foundation in New York, and currently the Executive Director of Ajegunle Community project. She holds a BSc( Hons) in Microbiology at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife Osun state Nigeria in 1993. And hold Post graduate Diploma in Education and Master degree in Education on Community Development and Social work on University of Lagos, Akoka respectively in 2010 and 2012. She has worked as a program officer for non – governmental organization named Women in Nigeria ( WIN) on HIV prevention and control education. Was the past treasurer of another non- governmental organization named Society for Women and AIDS in Africa, Nigeria chapter. She started working with Ajegunle Community Project as a program officer before raising to executive director. She had handle project on Sexual Gender Based Violence against women and girls, economic empowerment for women and democracy and governance sponsored by Cordaid, Netherlands, African women Development Funds, Actionaid Abuja, Global Fund for women USA. She is experienced in research and development works with background in institutional management and social development. She is feminist activist with experience as Gender specialist, social Entrepreneur and policy advocate.
Barrister Funmilayo Medinat Adeniyi

Barrister Funmilayo Medinat Adeniyi, the Board Treasurer of Women for Women Initiative Foundation in New york, is a lawyer with over 10 years' experience in International Rights Law and she is Gender based violence Expert. She had her LLB and LLM from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun state Nigeria. She was called to Nigerian Bar in the year 2009. She started her human rights career in a non-governmental named Ajegunle Community Project and has raising to senior programme officer (Legal). She got a scholarship to attend African Women Fellowship Program at Georgetown University in Washington D. C in 2016 for a period of one year and specializes in International Human Rights Law for women. In the similar vein, she is a climate change activist, a grassroots mobilizer and a consultant. She served as the Exective Director in a non – profit organisation in Nigeria named Feminine Action for Grassroots Development Initative. She is a researcher on gender based violence issues. She has coordinated various projects which have tremendously improved the life of women in Nigeria. She has written numerous papers on climate change and succession of women in the eastern part of Nigeria.
