The people we work with are poor and excluded people in communities to promote their rights and advocate positive actions and duty bearer to end poverty and injustice ( women and young people, people living with disabilities and old people).

HOW AND WHY WOMEN FOR WOMEN INITIATIVE FOUNDATION

The organization was set up by three women, a lawyer, a social development worker and a social entrepreneurial who attended conference on women rights and sustainable Development goals program and felt that there is a gap in Africa to achieve the goal in 2030 and want to contribute their quota toward development of Africa.

• The organization was set up to support the realization and fulfillment of African Women Rights.
• To achieve Sustainable Development Goal in 2030. On the sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs), we focuses on the key issues on Poverty ( SDG – 1) and an inclusive economy (SDG- 8), Quality Education ( SDG – 4), Gender Equality ( SDG – 5) and Climate Action ( SDG – 13). The aim of the Sustainable Development Goal is to balance our economic, environmental and social need, allowing prosperity for now and future generation. The goal of the Sustainable Development is to create the built form and systems that support the kinds of communities and connections that provide social, economic and environmental well – being now and in the future.
• To create measurable change in African women’s lives.
• It was created as an independent resource for gender equality and development across Africa.
• To support initiative of African women who may not have access to main stream funding due to capacity, language, location and marginalization.
• The organization was created to make space for women to be heard. We believe that women are essential to progress in their communities. Our world cannot move forward without their full participation
